Jennifer Powell was an elementary school teacher for nearly twelve years. In that time she developed a skill for creating new ways for children to grasp difficult concepts. Creating classrooms that were exciting, appealing, and energetic was her specialty. She and her family moved to Northern Virginia and found there weren’t many resources to create the perfect classroom, thus the idea of Teachables was born.
